French Baguette

French Baguette (4)
300g         Warm Water
10g             Yeast
10g            Sugar

450g         Strong Plain flour
10g            Salt flakes

Oil to grease the bowl

Dissolve the yeast in warm water and sugar in a bowl about 5-10 minutes until frothy

Add in rest of the ingredients and knead for 10 minutes. Place the dough in a oiled bowl and rest about 1 hour until doubled in size.

Punch down the dough and divide into 4 and rest for 10 minutes. Shape and slash on top and rest for 1 hour to doubled in size

Spray with water or place few ice cubes in the oven and bake at 210C for 25-30 minutes.
