Challah Bread
Ingredients
A
180g      Warm water
13g         Yeast
50g       Sugar
B
500g       Strong plain flour
60g         VEG Oil
12g          Salt
2               Eggs, large
1                Egg yolk

1 Tbsp      VEG oil

Egg wash
1                 Egg yolk
1Tbsp      Water

Methods
1, Dissolve the yeast by placing ingredients A in a stand mixing bowl and leave for 5-10 minutes.

2, Add the rest of the ingredients B, and knead for 10 minutes. Rest the dough in an oiled bowl for 1 hour or until doubled in size

3, Divide into 6 and rest for 15 minutes. Roll to about 35cm cylinder and plait it. Second proof until 1.5 times of its original size. Apply the egg wash before baking
Bake at 190°C for 40-45 minutes
